Consultation
Before you sign with an agency, hire a freelancer, pick a platform or spend a dollar on ads, talk to someone who has no stake in the answer. Which platform, what to spend on, what to skip, and how to tell a good quote from a bad one.
We have been asked to rescue enough sites to know the pattern: a business signs with the wrong platform or the wrong people, spends the money, and comes back a year later to start over. An hour of straight talk up front is the cheapest thing on this site.
Send us the proposal from the agency in Pittsburgh or the freelancer your cousin recommended. We tell you what is fair, what is missing, what is padded, and what questions to ask before you sign. We are not bidding on the job, so you get a straight read.
WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, Shopify, Wix, or something custom. Each is right for somebody. We ask about your business, your budget, who will maintain it and where you want to be in three years, and tell you which one and why.
Website, Google Business Profile, reviews, photos, ads, branding, a new logo. Most small businesses in Southwestern PA have a limited budget and a long list. We put it in order of what will actually bring in work.
Bring the site, the redesign mockup, the marketing plan or the ad account. We go through it with you and say what we would change and what we would leave alone.
Who owns our domain? Why does our email go to spam? What is this plugin? Is this invoice from our host legitimate? Should we be worried about this security warning? An hour clears a lot of these.
Every consultation ends with a written summary: what we discussed, what we recommend, in what order, and roughly what each step should cost. You can hand it to anyone.
Fixed prices, written summary included. If you hire us for the work afterwards, the consultation fee comes off the price.
No. Roughly a third of the people we talk to are told they do not need us, or need something smaller than they expected. The consultation is paid so that the advice can be honest.
Yes, and it is one of the most common reasons people book. We tell you what is fair, what is missing, and what to ask. We do not bid against it.
For the afternoon session, yes, anywhere within about an hour of Perryopolis: Pittsburgh, the Mon Valley, Fayette, Westmoreland and Washington counties. Further out we do it by video.
Your website address, any quotes or plans you are weighing, and a list of what frustrates you. If you have analytics or a Google Business Profile, access to those helps.
The consultation fee comes off the price of the project.
Send it in a sentence. If it is quick we will answer it for free. If it needs an hour, we will say so.
