Rizen · Perryopolis, Pennsylvania
Rizen is a small practice, not an agency, and that is the point. There is no account manager between you and the person building your site, and nobody is going to hand your project to a junior after the pitch.
Every name here is a person who touches the work. We would rather be four people who answer than twenty who route you to a ticket queue.
Founder, design and development
Thirteen years of design and development. Phil does the building, and he is the person who answers when you email.
Client strategy and copywriting
Works out what a site actually needs to say before anyone opens a design tool, and writes it. A published novelist, so the words are not an afterthought.
Brand and growth
Brand and growth work, including the identity tiers and how a finished site gets in front of the people it was built for.
Engineering and AI
Engineering and AI work, for the parts of a build that need more than a page: integrations, automation and the things that have to keep running.
Not a pitch about passion. Three concrete differences you can check.
Not a shared inbox, not a ticket. When something breaks on a Saturday, you are not waiting until Tuesday for a queue to move.
There is no sales team with a target, so if you do not need the thing, we say you do not need it. That has cost us work and we are keeping it.
The site, the domain, the logins, the working files. Leaving is always possible, which is the main reason people stay.
One sentence is usually enough for us to say whether we can help, roughly what it would cost, and whether you actually need us.
